Coffee Drinking for New Moms

decaf coffee

There is a myriad of research outlining the dos-and-don’ts for new mothers and those who are expecting. As a breastfeeding mom, I have to control myself from drinking coffee because the caffeine would be too strong for my baby. Studies show that caffeine can leak into breastmilk and is not advisable for nursing moms.

For me, the coffee addiction is not so much about the caffeine as being part of my routine in the morning. Without my morning cup of coffee, I just feel like something is missing. Good thing I can still enjoy the taste of real, honest-to-goodness java taste with my gourmet decaf coffee. It’s like the real thing but better because there is no caffeine.

Origins of Mocha     If you like a dark rich full bodied coffee, choose a French Roast Coffee.

A French roast creates the darkest beans, with an extremely bold and smoky flavor.  To achieve the intensily smoky flavor, the French Roast Coffee is roasted to the extreme.  Dense, high quality beans are used to get the dark rich flavor.

Though the flavor is potent, the beans are no higher in caffeine than any other roasts.

gourmet coffee     To ensure a distinctive flavor, rich taste and mouth watering aroma, the prized 100% Arabica Coffee Beans are used for grinding.

The Arabica Coffee Beans are grown at elevations 3,000 and 6,000 feet above sea level.  The hot moist climate produces the most flavorful coffee bean possible.

The Arabica Coffee Beans are hand picked just as they become fully ripened.  The beans are then dried, sorted and graded according to color, size, and uniformity.  This process guarantees a perfect cup of coffee.
